Allergy remedy
25 drops Lavender Essential Oil
25 drops Lemon Essential Oil
25 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
25 drops Copaiba Essential Oil
Carrier oil (almond oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, etc.)
10-mL glass roll-on bottle
I haven't tried this, but I have seen it around. Figured I would share it with anyone who might want to know. The worst part of allergy season, for me is the pollen that gets in my eyes so I'm not sure if it will help with that.

Our Fore Father's
This quote by Benjamin Franklin pretty much sums up what's going on in America.
"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."

Who is really the racist one?
Ah, I keep forgetting to blog. Usually I write something up at work over lunch or just in a down time, but things have been busier. Anyway today I want to bring up the subject of Obama restricting military equipment from the police. I mean how naive is that? He is basically giving the protesters more of a reason to protest. The police will have less ability to stop a riot with limits on their equipment, which (if I lived in Baltimore) would definitely make me feel unsafe. I'm not saying that there are not corrupt officers, but it is the corrupt officer himself that should be punished not the whole police force. No peace will come from limiting the tools sometimes needed to enforce it. Don't get me wrong I do not in anyway think it is ok to shoot someone running from you who hasn't pulled a gun. If you're a police officer you should be able to chase him down. However, officers are trained to recognize a threat. If they feel their life is being endangered they have a right to shoot and statistics show that more Caucasians are shot than African Americans. So then isn't that racist to whites? It's like a strictly African American event (which I know there are a few) is not racist, but something that was only for Caucasians would immediately be considered so.

The problem with working for family
I work for my Dad and I really don't like it. I think he thinks that I like it alright, but in reality I'm just working here because I feel like I need to help his manager. I don't mind that he's picky or wants everything perfect. The problem is that he won't stop talking about work at home to me and he thinks of me as his employee outside of work. The other thing is whenever I bring something home for him he'll be like don't bring that home or he'll be like why didn't you bring that home. Seriously, if I didn't live at home I wouln't even be able to bring anything home for him. I tired of him not being able to seperate work from relation and of him continuosly picking at me about things so little. So if you're thinking about woking for a family member definitely think it over before you do.

Delta airlines
Seriously, this airline is horrible. I travelled to Aruba a few months ago and we had to stay the night in Georgia because of their problems. We always leave early in the morning and we got there on time to check in. The first problem was there was no one there to help us check in. We finally got our bags checked and through security. They boarded the plane on time then the pilot announced that the planes water system is frozen. We waited on the plane for at least an hour waiting for them to try to drain the water out of the system. The pilot blamed the cold weather for the airlines mistake of not emptying the water the night before. We boarded and der-boarded twice before taking off. It was another four to five hours to board again since there were other systems that weren't working on it either. Delta made everyone on that plane miss any connecting flights that they had. When we got to Georgia, there was only one person at the help desk that knew what he was doing. He got us on a flight to Aruba that day, but when we got to the terminal the lady wouldn't take the time to look up our names. She ran and shut the gate door in our faces. The guy that helped us before at least got us a free hotel room for the night and overnight kits. He was the only person that was very competent of the whole airline staff. My family will never fly delta again. My father even wanted to go home instead of on our trip.
This morning I heard a father had to pay 88 dollars to sit next to his four year old daughter on a delta flight. The flight had many empty seats, it would have been easy to move a couple adults around. Who wouldn't move so a 4 year old girl could sit next to her father?

London
So I'm going to London in a few weeks. The trip is techmically my sister's high school graduation gift from my parents and I'm just going along. I get to pick like one thing that I want to do and the rest is up to my sister and my mom. We are already going to the london eye, having tea on a boat, going to the Victoria and Albert Museum, going to one of the gardens, and going to the duke of york square. Any other suggestions? I found many places I like but I need to narrow it down.

Something for Nothing
Since when do people have to have exactly what they want but are not willing to pay nearly enough to cover the price. If you want it then earn the money for it. If you want to lose weight, work for it. We used to appreciate the work others would do for us, now we just expect it. On the same note, people on welfare need to work for their welfare too. Why should I have to give the money away that I actually worked for when they didn't do anything at all? That's my rant for now maybe more on the politcal aspects later.
